Diversity of Natural Nitraria tangutorum Shrub Community in Minqin Desert Oasis Transition Zone and Its Response to Rainfall
In order to understand the impact of precipitation on the biodiversity of Nitraria tangutorum shrub, fixed plots were set up on the wandering dunes and semi-fixed dunes in the desert transition zone of Qingtu Lake Oasis in Minqin.Combined with annual precipitation, the response of Nitraria tangutorum shrub community to rainfall was studied by using statistical principles and methods. The results showed as follows:the response of Nitraria tangu-torum community composition to precipitation was obvious in wandering dunes and semi-fixed dunes;in the Nitraria tangutorum community, the one-year herbs had a strong response to rainfall, while perennial herbs, shrubs, and sub-shrubs had no significant response to rainfall;the number of plant species and species plants in the community re-sponded strongly to rainfall;there was a positive correlation between crown width, annual growth, coverage of Ni-traria tangutorum and precipitation.
