Preliminary Study on the Effects of Farmland Shelterbelts on Fire Blight of Pyrus brestschneideri
In order to understand the effects of farmland shelterbelts on fire blight of fragrant pear, the susceptibility of Pyrus brestschneideri trees in six farmlands in Yuli County was investigated, and the limiting effect of farmland shelterbelts on the spread of pear fire blight was explored. The results showed as follows:the susceptible rate of fragrant pear trees near the shelterbelts was the lowest, the shelterbelts with a certain scale and complete forest form could reduce or isolate the spread of original bacteria of pear fire blight in the park, and reduce the occurrence of the disease to a certain extent;the occurrence of pear fire blight in farmland is not uniform, showing a mass structure distribution. In the planning of protection forest in the pear orchard,it is necessary to fully consider the main wind direction, especially the direction of the main damage wind.In addition,in the process of prevention and control, the strategy of zoning and strengthening prevention and control should be adopted.
