Study on Diurnal Variation of Chlorophyll Fluorescence Parameters of Populus alba var.pyramidalis Leaves in Hexi Corridor
In order to study the photosynthesis and environmental adaptability of Populus alba var.pyramidalis, the chlorophyll fluorescence parameters of its leaves were determined by PAM-2100 fluorescence analyzer. The re-sults showed as follows:from 8:00 to 20:00,the diurnal variation of the photosynthetically active radiations(PAR),the photochemical electron transport rate(ETR)and the photochemical quenching efficiencies(qp)of Pop-ulus alba var.pyramidalis leaves all presented double-peak curve;at 10:00,the photosynthetically active radiations(PAR)and the active quantum yield(Yield)of appeared the maximum peak, and the maximum peak of active quan-tum yield(Yield)was 0.709;the maximum quantum yield of PS Ⅱ(Fv/Fm)was higher and maintained at the same level throughout the day,and the photoinhibition was not obvious;from 12:00 to 18:00,the photochemical quenching efficiencies(qp)decreased while the non-photochemical quenching efficiencies(qN)did not decrease;the primary light energy conversion efficiency was higher and the photosynthesis was stronger.
