Analysis of Forest Carbon Sink Efficiency Based on DEA-Malmquist Model
In order to explore the forest carbon sink efficiency in Liaoning Province, based on the DEA-Malmquist model,a comprehensive evaluation was conducted on the forest carbon sink efficiency of 14 urban areas in Liaoning Province from 2000 to 2020,including the static comprehensive efficiency of forest carbon sinks and the dynamic effi-ciency changes of forest carbon sinks. The results showed that from 2000 to 2020,the average values of the sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth detections of the comprehensive efficiency of forest carbon sinks were 0.560,0.558,0.589 and 0.644,respectively,indicating significant differences in forest carbon sink efficiency among different regions.Since 2000,the government's investment in forestry technology has brought about technological innovation and sig-nificantly improved forest carbon sink efficiency by strengthening the forestry technology innovation system. The study not only quantified the comprehensive efficiency of forest carbon sinks in various regions, but also identified the key driving factors affecting forest carbon sink efficiency through the DEA-Malmquist model, providing empirical evidence for formulating scientific forestry management policies and improving the carbon sequestration capacity of forest ecosystems.
