Effects of Fertilization on Dry Matter Accumulation and Tree Growth of Corylus heterophylla × Corylus avellana
In order to explore the effects of fertilization on dry matter accumulation and tree growth of Corylus het-erophylla × Corylus avellana, the fertilization experiment was carried out on Corylus heterophylla × Corylus avel-lana(Dawei,Liao 3)planted in the scientific research demonstration base of Jinpu New District(Economic Forest Research Institute of Liaoning Province)in Dalian City of Liaoning Province and the hazelnut experimental demon-stration base of Menjin Village in Shuncheng District of Fushun City. The results showed that the total biomass of fertilization and non-fertilization trees reached 5 987.24 g and 3 867.11 g,respectively. After fertilization, the aver-age yields of hazelnut in the two experimental sites were 4 480.5 and 4 515.0 kg·hm-2,respectively.Fertilization had a significant effect on tree growth, and also increased the contents of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, organic matter and trace elements, which played a positive role in high yield.
