论科幻小说元叙述及其后现代意义建构
On Science Fiction's Meta-narrative and the Construction of Postmodern Significance

元叙述是后现代文学的重要书写策略,能够揭示叙述的自我意识,呈现文本虚构性与经验真实再现之间的认知张力.然而,元叙述在现代科幻小说中的特性与特征却鲜有研究与总结.本文探讨20世纪60年代科幻小说创作与批评实践在元叙述模式中的幽微互动,通过参与文体规则的符码游戏,以形成鲜明的"批评性"与"交流性"特征,并在作品中展现"露迹式"与"多叙述合一式"元叙述的具体建构.本文认为,在元叙述为读者提供未来世的文本空间并渗透作者私人意志的同时,现实经验与传统惯习中割裂与间隔的碎片、拼贴、反传统等后现代表达所面临的阻碍,通过元叙述的表达模式,也能于科幻这一逐渐流行的现代文学体裁中得以消解.
Abstract
Meta-narrative is an important writing strategy in postmodern literature,which reveals the self-consciousness of narrative and presents the cognitive tension between the fiction of the text and the reality of experience.However,the characteristics and representation of meta-narrative in modern science fiction are rarely studied.This paper explores the subtle interaction between science fiction writing and its criticism practice in the meta-narrative mode in the 1960s.It analyses how a science fiction piece presents a distinct representation of"criticism"and"communication"by considering symbolic stylistic rules.These two characteristics are integrated in the meta-narrative construction of"narrative exposure"and"multi-narrative integration".Thus,this paper argues that while meta-narrative provides readers with a textual space for the future and integrates authors'personal intentions,the expression mode of meta-narrative allows the obstacles faced by postmodern expressions between reality and traditional standards such as fragments,collage,and anti-tradition to be dissolved in science fiction,an increasingly popular literary genre.
