As intangible cultural heritage increasingly integrates into urban settings and modern life,the interplay between tradition and modernity shapes the composite presentation of cultural signs within urban creative spaces.This dynamic reflects both the inheritance value of intangible cultural heritage and its adaptability to contemporary societal needs.The intrinsic characteristics of intangible cultural heritage—such as specificity,creativity,and vitality—define the semiotic forms and connotations required for its inheritance and dissemination.These characteristics also shape the value orientation and aesthetic preferences associated with the consumption of intangible cultural heritage signs in modem urban life.This study explores the living inheritance of intangible cultural heritage in urban creative spaces,focusing on the cognitive need for its symbolic representation,the collaborative decoding of its multimedia textual presentations,and the processes of symbolic production and consumption within these spaces.
