Progress in the analysis of trace sulfides in hydrogen for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles
Trace sulfides in hydrogen for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles(FCV)can cause catalyst poisoning, significantly de-grading battery performance. All standard organizations have made strict limits on the sulfur content in hydrogen for hydro-gen fuel cells, requiring the sulfide content(in terms of H2S or S1)to be less than 0.004µmol/mol,which puts forward high requirements for the analysis of sulfides. In this paper, the methods and principles of trace sulfur analysis in the field of gas analysis are introduced, their advantages and disadvantages are compared, and their application in trace sulfur analysis in FCV hydrogen is discussed.
