Application of Centrifugation to Remove Turbidity Interference in the Determination of Total Nitrogen
In order to effectively remove the interference of turbidity on the determination of total nitrogen in surface water and ensure the reliability of the determination of total nitrogen,this paper compares the two centrifugal treatment methods from the aspects of accuracy,precision and operability,the experimental results show that:the accuracy and precision of the two centrifugal methods are up to the standard,but the accuracy of the second centrifugal methods is higher,the precision is better and the operation is simpler.In practical work,it is suggested to remove the interference of turbidity on the determina-tion of total nitrogen by adding hydrochloric acid first and using pure water to dilute before centrifugation.
