An empirical study on the influence of supply chain concentration on digital capabilities of entity retail enterprises
Digital capability is an important means for entity retail enterprises to gain competitive advantage in the fierce market competition.The data of 74 A-share listed entity retail companies from 2007 to 2021 were se-lected to study the influence of supply chain concentration and market position on the improvement of digital capabilities of these enterprises.It also examines the moderating effect of market position and the influence of different factors such as the nature of property rights and regional distribution on the relationship between the two.Results show that the supply chain concentration of these enterprises has a significant positive impact on the improvement of digital capabilities,while the market position has a negative moderating effect on the rela-tionship between the two,and the supply chain concentration has a more significant impact on the improvement of digital capabilities of non-state-owned enterprises and enterprises in the eastern region.
