Effects on the Yield and Mycelial Growth of Stropharia rugosoannulata in Different Formulas of Bamboo Shoot Processing Waste
[Objective]The effects on the yield and mycelial growth of Stropharia rugosoannulata in different formulas of bamboo shoot processing waste were analyzed,to provide reference for its utilization in Stropharia rugosoannulata cultivation.[Method]Using pure sawdust formula as control group, five treatments with bamboo shoot processing waste content of 15%(T1),30%(T2),45%(T3),60%(T4),and 75%(T5)were set.The mycelial growth rate, harvest time and yield were measured.[Result]The results showed that the mycelium of Stropharia rugosoannulata could grow in different formulas.T1 and T2 showed faster mycelial growth rate than the control, with T2 having the fastest growth rate at 2.36 mm/d,significantly faster than the control.subsequently,as the proportion of bamboo shoot processing waste increased, the mycelial growth rate gradually became slower.Mushrooms could be harvested from all formulas, with T1 and T2 having shorter harvest time compared to the control.Harvest time increased when the content of bamboo shoot processing waste was added to above 45%.There were significant differences in yield among treatments, with T1 and T2 showing significantly higher yields than the control. The highest yield was observed in T2 at 6.47 kg/m2,a 10.79%increase over the control. The yield gradually decreased with bamboo shoot processing waste additions exceeding 45%.[Conclusion]T2 having the highest yield and shortest harvest time was suitable for cultivation and promotion of Stropharia rugosoannulata.
