Introduction Performance of Citrus Hybrid'Himekoharu'in Lishui City,Zhejiang Province
'Himekoharu'is a late maturity citrus hybrid bred in Japan.In 2018 it was introduced into Lishui City,Zhejiang Province and cultivated in trial with citrus hybrid'Ehime Kashi No.28'and'Kanpei'as controls.Observation and measurement of their introduction performance were summarized.The results showed that'Himekoharu'had strong tree vigor and the suitable harvesting period was in the early and middle December in open field.It had high yield with an average yield of 2 000 kg per 667 m2,medium-level biennial bearing,not crack-prone character and high tolerance to low temperature.The fruit shape was ovoid,shape of fruit base was necked,the average fruit weight reached 136.84 g,and fruit skin was lemon yellow and adherence of albedo to pulp was weak.Its fruit flesh was yellow and soft with good fruit mastication,had rich juice and strong bee honey flavor and average soluble solids content was 12.87%.In contrast,for the two citrus hybrid bred with orange red skin,'Kanpei'had severe fruit cracking,high-level biennial fruiting,and was difficult to manage.'Ehime Kashi No.28'need higher-level cultivation techniques and had been cultivated in a larger area.'Himekoharu'had good cultivation adaptability in Lishui,so it was suggested to be promoted moderately as a special citrus hybrid.
