Residue and Dissipation Dynamics and Security Evaluation of Sulfoxaflor in Tea
[Objective]To determine the residue and dissipation dynamics and safety of sulfoxaflor in tea.[Method]The residue and dissipation rate of sulfoxaflor in tea were detected by gas chromatography. The security of this insecticide was comprehensively evaluated from aspects of physicochemical properties, toxicity and dietary exposure risk.[Result]The residue of two doses of sulfoxaflor in tea were low and decreased negatively exponentially as time went by.Residue and dissipation dynamics followed the first-order kinetic equation. The dissipation rates of two doses were more than 79.00%after 16 days of treatment. The highest residue of two doses were was only 0.089 mg/kg after 32 days of treatment. The residual half-life of two doses were 8.66~9.76 d.The cumulative security rating of sulfoxaflor in physicochemical properties and toxicity was 11.The risk quotient(RQ)of dietary exposure for two doses were 0.004 and 0.006,respectively.[Conclusion]Sulfoxaflor is an easily dissipated insecticide in tea with low residue and dietary exposure risk which could be widely used in tea plantation. This study can provide references for the rational application and formulation of maximum residue limit(MRL)for sulfoxaflor in tea.
