Analysis of Crack Propagation Based On Generalized Extended Finite Element Method
Generalized extended finite element method ( GXFEM) is a kind of new numerical method which is formed by combining gener-alized finite element method (GFEM) and extended finite element method (XFEM).GXFEM has inherited and developed the characteris-tic of GFEM and XFEM.Therefore, compared with other methods , GXFEM has particular advantage .In this paper, the basic principle and numerical implementation of GXFEM is introduced , and the relevant program is made to simulate crack propagation .
