Structural analysis of the lapping conversion of an antique Tower style architecture in Fuzhou
Yanfu Tower is an antique Tower style architecture.The facade of the building is retracted layer by layer,and the frame columns on each floor are discontinuous..Each column in each layer is set back 160mm from the lower layer.Structurally,circular beams are used to connect the upper and lower columns,and the upper and lower columns form overlapping transitions within the the transfer beam.YJK and Midas software are used to analyze and design the structure,focusing on the seismic performance design of the structure and the nodal analysis of the lapping block.The results indicate that the mechanical performance of the lap joint conversion form is safe and reliable,and it reasonably solves the retraction requirements of the building facade.
