This paper proposed the strengthening and rehabilitating of a multi-story masonry structure hotel in Tong'an District,Xiamen.By modeling analysis based on current situation and structural assessment,a targeted reinforcement and retrofitting design is proposed.Af-ter comparing different options,the reinforced concrete surface layer technology is selected to enhance the overall stiffness and load-bear-ing capacity of the wall.After reinforcement,the load-bearing capacity and seismic performance of the structure have significant improve-ment and fulfill the safety requirements.
