Discussion on the Calculation Model of a Swimming Pool Grid
Steel structure grids are widely used in large-span sports buildings because of their advantages such as high strength,light-weight and fast construction speed. These buildings are typically composed of upper large-span steel roofs and lower concrete supports. In order to simplify the design, the upper roof and lower concrete frame are usually modeled separately for design analysis. However, due to the neglect of the synergistic effect between the upper and lower structures, there are differences between the overall structural analysis and the separate modeling calculation results. This article takes a certain swimming pool structure as an example, through finite element soft-ware modeling and calculation, analyzes and compares the differences between the overall structural model and the independent grid model in terms of support reaction, member internal force, element stress distribution, and component displacement, demonstrating the necessity of conducting overall structural analysis.
