This article takes the application research of the protection and construction project in the Mawei Shipyard area of the Shipbuild-ing Administration Culture as an example,elaborates on the use of intelligent scanning BIM technology to intelligently scan comprehensive warehouses,iron threatening factories,machine repair workshops,and machine installation warehouses,create intelligent scanning point cloud models,and assist in design and construction through the application of scanning models and reverse models.The results indicate that the field data processing and reverse modeling application technology based on intelligent scanners is of great significance in assisting the design and construction of building renovation projects.
