Most pile foundations in buildings adopt prestressed pipe piles and cast-in-place piles.The former has more quality problems,while the latter has higher costs.Finding new types of pile foundations has become a practical engineering problem.This article provides a detailed introduction to the stress principle,design,construction,and application of a relatively new type of pile,which is screw grouting pile in a high-rise building,for reference by engineering designers.
