Cause analysis and solution of EPC general contracting project budget exceeding budgetary estimate
In recent years,the EPC engineering general contracting model has been promoted to a certain extent,but it has also exposed some existing problems,such as the advantages of the EPC model not being fully utilized,and the construction cost not being effectively controlled.In order to effectively avoid the common problem of budget overruns in EPC engineering general contracting projects,this article combines the review of actual cases,analyzes the reasons from the perspectives of both the employer and the contractor,and proposes cor-responding solutions such as emphasizing preliminary work,complying with infrastructure procedures,transforming traditional concepts,implementing limit design,and strengthening whole process management.
