With the continuous development of project construction,the combination of information technology and audit is becoming more and more close.The traditional audit mode has some shortcomings such as backward management,difficulty in obtaining evidence and im-perfect supervision,which makes it difficult to adapt to modem project audit management.In order to ensure the scientificity and compre-hensiveness of the whole process audit,this paper discusses the application of BIM technology in the whole process audit based on a dam project,and compares the advantages and disadvantages of traditional audit and BIM-based whole process audit mode.The research re-sults show that,the application of BIM technology in the whole process audit has the advantages of controlling key elements in advance,re-al-time supervision in the process and obtaining evidence after the event.The research results can provide reference for similar projects.
