The Suspender Replacement Design for CFST Tied Arch Bridge
The CFST tied arch bridges built in the 1990s have been in service for 20～30 years,and the design service life of suspenders is 20 years.These bridges are confronting with the difficulty of replacing suspenders.There is no reference specification and general engineer-ing case for suspender replacement design.Combined with a suspender replacement design for CFST tied arch bridge,the critical technolo-gy of suspender replacement design is summarized in this paper,and the suspender replacement procedures are organized,these methods would provide beneficial reference for similar engineering.
