Design of exceed-code high-rise building for a Commercial Center Hotel
A commercial center hotel is a class-B high-rise building,which has many irregular items such as torsion irregularity,uneven irregu-larity,discontinuity of vertical components,body type inflow,etc.The performance-based seismic design method is adopted.Based on different performance objectives,overall calculation and analysis were carried out under the effects of small,medium,and large earthquakes;Stress analysis of floor slabs.Based on the analysis results of medium and large earthquakes,identify the weak links of the structure,and strengthen them in a tar-geted manner.The overall seismic performance of the structure meets the expected goals,and the structural system is reasonable and safe.
