Experimental study on size effect of compressive strength of recycled coarse aggregate concrete
Through the compression test of the cubic specimens with strength grades C30,C45 and C60 which were respectively prepared with recycled coarse aggregate containing 25%,50%,75%and 100%.The size effect of the compressive strength specimens with different con-tent of recycled coarse aggregate,strength grades and side lengths of 100 mm,150 mm and 200 mm was studied.The test shows that:Be-cause recycled coarse aggregate has the surface properties of mortar,the size effect of compressive strength is slightly different from that of natural aggregate,but the law remains the same.With the strength grade and recycled coarse aggregate content increasing,the effect becomes more and more obvious,and the maximum size effect coefficient of compressive strength of 100%C60 recycled concrete is the largest.
