Local Practices in the Preservation and Development Models ofHistoric and Cultural Districts
To better protect the country's historical and cultural heritage,in 2015,the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the State Administration of Cultural Heritage announced the first batch of 30 China Historical and Cultural Blocks,with Fuzhou's Three Lanes and Seven Alleys included among them.By 2023,according to data from the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development,the number of historically designated cultural blocks across the country had reached more than 1,200,with 63,500 historical buildings i-dentified.Under the backdrop of the protection of historical and cultural heritage,this article takes the Fuzhou historical and cultural block as an example,delving into the definition,value,and revitalization utilization strategies of historical and cultural blocks by analyzing their historical background,current characteristics,and specific measures and models for revitalization.The aim is to explore the implementation paths and operational management models for the sustainable development of historical and cultural blocks,promoting the inheritance of ur-ban culture and economic development.
