Higher education institutions'ideological and political theory courses bear the important mission of publicizing and implemen-ting the spirit of the Party's 20th National Congress.The course of"Outline of Chinese Modern History"is a compulsory ideological and po-litical course at the undergraduate level.How to integrate the spirit of the Party's 20th National Congress into this course is a major task for i-deological and political teachers currently and in the period ahead.In terms of integration concepts,it is necessary to adhere to the following principles:using history as a basis to clarify the factual basis of the spirit of the Party's 20th National Congress rooted in history;studying his-tory to understand the theoretical logic of the spirit rooted in history;and reading history to increase confidence,feeling the confidence of the Party rooted in history.In terms of key content integration,it is important to accurately grasp the historical theme of the centennial struggle,deeply explain the theoretical connotations of"two practices",systematically understand the ideological context of Chinese-style moderniza-tion,and comprehensively interpret the spiritual lineage of the Chinese Communists.In terms of specific integration suggestions,it is necessa-ry to integrate the spirit of the Party's 20th National Congress into various parts of the teaching materials,and deeply explain knowledge points such as"three necessary requirements,"adhering to"people-centeredness,"and"five necessary paths."
