Embedded Assessment:An Exploration of"Alignment of Teaching,Learning, and Assessment"in Classroom Practice to Promote the Development of Core Competencies——A case study of literary text reading
The requirement of"alignment of teaching, learning, and assessment"demands that the development of subject core compe-tencies serves as the focus, with the three elements of teaching, learning, and assessment forming a closely linked logical chain. This article proposes to ensure the consistency of the three elements-teachers'teaching,evaluation of students'learning, and students'learning-by focu-sing on two aspects:the consistency of learning objectives and the consistency of ability levels. In the practice guided by consistency,it is necessary to firmly accomplish tasks based on"reading the text,"to value"objective-guided learning"and use"assessment to promote learning,"and to focus on"assessment feedback"to refine"teaching growth points."This approach aims to realize a learner-centered teaching-learning-assessment consistency classroom, thereby promoting the development of students'core literacy in the Chinese language subject.
