Strategies for the Integrated Instructional design of High School English Units Focusing on Cultivating Cultural Awareness
The cultivation of cultural awareness is a crucial link in the fulfillment of the fundamental task of moral education in English classrooms,and the integrated instructional design of units is an important means of English teaching under the new curriculum concept.Cur-rently,instructional design strategies focusing on cultivating cultural awareness are mostly limited to individual texts,which is not conducive to students'formation of cultural awareness at the unit level.The article elaborates on the connotation of cultivating cultural awareness in high school English,utilizes the design framework of integrated teaching of high school English units to cultivate cultural awareness,and proposes strategies for the integrated instructional design of high school English units focusing on cultural awareness cultivation through case analysis.
