Exploratory Analysis of a Process-Oriented Model for STEM Scientific Inquiry Activities in Early Childhood Education
Process orientation is an educational concept that emphasizes the learning process rather than the outcomes.Currently, there is a tendency in STEM scientific inquiry activities to overemphasize achieving predefined learning objectives and completing teaching tasks, while neglecting the value of process exploration and practical value.Process orientation focuses on the value of both the learning process for children and the teaching process for educators. In STEM scientific inquiry activities, importance should be given to the following five key processes:conceptual construction, logical analysis, engineering management, application verification, and refinement.
