Integration of Language and Mathematics:Practical Reading Teaching Practice for Upper Primary School Students
The integration of disciplines aims to break down the barriers between subjects and absorb knowledge and elements from dif-ferent disciplines to better cultivate students'core competencies.The instrumental nature of language determines its unique practicality,and practical reading texts in primary schools are an important carrier for practicing the instrumental nature of language.In the teaching of practi-cal reading for upper primary school students,introducing mathematical knowledge,elements and mathematical thinking methods,and apply-ing mathematical thinking to assist in language reading can improve the effectiveness of practical reading.
