An Inquiry into the Utilization Strategies of the " Learning Expansion" Column in the Unified Edition of High School History Textbooks——Taking the lesson " Culture from the Three Kingdoms to the Sui and Tang Dynasties" as an example
The " Learning Expansion" column,as a sub-column of the auxiliary system" Exploration and Expansion" in the unified edition of high school history textbooks,is an important component of the new teaching material. Although initially positioned as " flexible content" for students with spare capacity to further their studies, its role in comprehensively cultivating students' core disciplinary literacy from multiple perspectives and in an all-around way is outstanding. In current teaching practice, influenced by various factors, this column has not received due attention. To fully tap into the value of this column and foster disciplinary literacy,it can be adapted in teaching practice by turning learning tasks into themes for extracurricular activities based on the content of " Learning Expansion". Additionally, the related historical facts and materials that need to be consulted can be skillfully integrated into the classroom teaching process, and the column can al-so be used as a tool for excellence cultivation and differential assistance, making the best use of it.
