"Four-Stage"Critical Thinking:Exploring the Teaching Path of Critical Reading in the Teaching of"Receivingism"
Taking the teaching of"Receivingism"as an example,this paper proposes a"four-stage"critical thinking approach to the teaching of critical reading.Firstly,it involves studying the"three news",clearly grasping the requirements of critical thinking learning in the new curriculum standards,new textbooks,and new college entrance examinations,focusing on the essence of critical reading teaching;secondly,it pays attention to"two studies",timely referring to academic research results,and conducting advance research on class learn-ing situations to lay a solid foundation for critical reading teaching;then,it constructs a structured"four-ring"teaching design to implement critical reading teaching;finally,based on"five dimensions",it reflects on critical reading teaching from five dimensions:writing back-ground,argumentation methods,main themes of discussion,significance of discussion,and the spirit of critical thinking.
