In order to improve the growth of Cunninghamia lanceolata, fertilization experiment of the plantation were conducted for 3 years. The effects of different fertilization methods on the growth of height, diameter at breast height, volume of C.lanceolata and soil pH,organic matter and soil nutrient content were studied. Results showed:3 a after the test,A treatment (6 hole bag) was the best treatment with the tree height 8.46 m,diameter at breast height 8.96 cm and volume growth 98.16 m3·hm-2 which was 5.75%,-0.56%,19.13% higher than that of CK respectively,0.24%~5.75%,2.63%~5.78% and 17.75%~18.71% higher than that of other fertilization treatment. The soil pH value at 0~20 cm and 20~40 cm layer were the highest in A treatment (4.6),Soil organic matter content at 0~20 cm soil layer was the highest in B treatment (37.77 g·kg-1),the content of soil organic matter in A treatment was the similar with B treatments, soil organic matter content at 20~40 cm soil layer was the highest in A treatment (25.75 g·kg-1).Mter 3 a fertilization, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, total potassium, available nitrogen and available potassium were higher in A treated soil. The content of available potassium in each treatment at 0~ 20 cm soil layer was lower than before the experiment and total nitrogen, total phosphorus, total potassium and available nitrogen in the soil of 0~20 cm and 20~40 cm soil layers were higher than before the experiment. Therefore, compared to conventional fertilization, the effect of bag controlled fertilization on the growth of C.lanceolata and the soil fertility of forest land was better and the A treatment is the best.
