In order to figure out the features of the Mangrove soil microbial community with Spartina alterniflora invasion. This paper used the Biolog ecoplate technology to study the carbon source metabolic capacity and the function diversity of S.alterniflora community and Mangrove soil microbial community at Min Jiang estuary wetland and discussed their difference. The results showed that both the soil microbial function diversity and the richness in the Mangrove-S.alterniflora community (MS) area were higher than Mangrove community (MC) or S.alterniflora community (SC).In general, the average well color development (AWCD)increased with time going, and different plants type had a different variation curve. The polymer was the main carbon source of the three different plants, and the use efficiency of the phenolic acid was the lowest. For the three Simpson index,Shannon index and Richness index, the MS is the highest.Principal component analysis (PCA) identified identified 2 principal component factors in relation to carbon sources explaining 77.7% and 22.2% of the variation respectively. The carbon sources used by soil microbial community differed with vegetation types.Amino acid and carboxylic acid were the two main carbon sources separating the 2 principal component factors. The researches indicated that different plant type had different root system soil microbial metabolic capacity, the stagger area of the Mangrove and the S.alterniflora community had the most abundant soil microbial function diversity.
