Based on cumulation cultivation, filter paper disintegrating, carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) enzyme activity determination, strains with great capacity in cellulose decomposition were isolated to analyze the CMC enzyme activities of fallen logs in the Tsuga longibracteata W.C.Cheng forest of Tianbaoyan National Nature Reserve.18S rRNA sequencing analysis of the selected stains was carried out and identified as Penicillium spinulosum which the CMC enzyme activity was 243.73 U·mL-1.The P.spinulosum strain had the ability in cellulose degradation in the T.longibracteata forest of Tianbaoyan National Nature Reserve.
