Flora of liverworts in typical area of Motuo,Xizang
Research on bryophytes was conducted to understand the composition and characteristics of the liverwort flora in the typical area of Motuo.A new list of liverworts in the typical area of Motuo was prepared using field investigation, specimen collection, identification, literature review, and data statistical analysis. The liverworts in typical area of Motuo were divided using the seed plant method and compared with those in 8 areas with similar geographical locations or climate types.Based on the identification results of 1 363 collected specimens,38 families,68 genera, and 214 species of liverworts(including four varieties and seven subspecies)were identified in typical area of Motuo. There are 13 flora types of liverworts in the typical regions, the top three being East Asia(25%),Tropical Asia(23.56%),and North temperate(19.23%),and 13.46%of these species are endemic to China. The flora types of the liverworts in the flora types of Motuo were rich and diverse. The proportion of floristic components of tropical and temperate nature was relatively high and similar. It was closely related to the typical liverwort flora of East Asia and had the characteristics of Chinese liverwort flora. The number of liverwort flora types in typical area of Motuo fluctuated with elevation and showed at least two peaks, which was closely related to species richness.Among the 9 study regions, the species richness of typical regions of Motuo was second only to that of the Qinling Mountain. The genus and species compositions were the closest to Qizimei and Sygera Mountains, respectively.According to the principle component analysis of tropical nature, temperate nature,East Asia, and endemic to China, the relationship with Qizimei Mountain was the closest.
