The annual Bambusa emeiensis with different growth height was selected as the research object and the dynamic accumula -tion of cellulose ,lignin and ash content was explored. The results showed that the change of cellulose content at the top and middle section was in logarithmic growth. The change of cellulose content from the base and total cellulose content from the stalk was in S type curve. The change of lignin content trends from the different sections trended to the inverted S curve .The difference of lignin content from the stalk with the different height was significant. With the increase of height ,the changes of ash content from the base and top parts and total ash content from stalk trended to the inverted S curve ,the change of ash content from the middle parts trended to the S type curve. The accumulation of total cellulose ,lignin content and ash content mainly concentrated in the growth period of 150 cm to 800 cm,30 cm to 800 cm and 300 cm to 800 cm,respectively.
