New Variety of Landscape Type Casuarina'Auspicious dragon'
In 2013,A Casuarina individual with obvious distinctness was found when implementing field investigation in the National Germplasm Bank of Casuarina in Chihu state-owned forest farm,Huian,Fujian Province.This individual presents ovoid-globose crown,with grayish brown and strip-shaped drastic crastic barks,shaped like the tree species Sabina chinesis,and high ornamental value was recognized.After DUS test,the clonal ramets of the individual were deemed to be satisfied with the distinctness,uniformity and stability criteria of new varieties of plants,and were authorized new variety right(named as Auspicious dragon,No.20210628).This new variety'Auspicious dragon'can be applied to coastal shelterbelts construction of Southeastern China.It can achieve both land-scape effects and protection functions,and then benefit the promotion of greening and beautification of the coastal.
