Camera-trapping Survey of Terrestrial Wild Mammals and Birds in the Tengshan Nature Reserve,Yongtai,Fujian Province
From January 1 to December 11,2022,comprehensive wildlife monitoring program was conducted in the Fujian Yongtai Tengshan Provincial Nature Reserve using infrared cameras.The monitoring results indicated that among the identifiable wild ani-mals,there were 80 species belonging to 2 classes,16 orders,36 families,including 22 wild mammal species belonging to6 orders,15 families,58 wild bird species belonging to 10 orders,21 families;four of the species are listed as Class Ⅰ Nationally Protected Wild-life,and 19 species are listed as Class Ⅱ.The outcomes of this monitoring provide a foundation for the management and protection of wildlife in the nature reserve.
