Research Progress of Weed Management and Soil and Water Conservation Technology in Tea Orchards in Red Soil Region of South China
Tea orchards in the red soil region of South China have become important agricultural resources because of their unique geographical and climatic conditions, but they are also facing the challenges of weeds and soil erosion. This paper comprehensively analyzed the research progress of weed management and soil and water conservation in tea orchards at home and abroad, and put forward a series of targeted management strategies. In terms of weed management, integrated weed management techniques combining chemical, physical and biological control methods are recommended to improve production efficiency and reduce environmental impact in tea orchards. In terms of soil and water conservation,it was emphasized the importance of terracing, vegetation cover and soil improvement techniques, which can effectively reduce soil erosion and improve capacity of soil water and fertilizer retention.Future research should focus on the development of ecologically friendly weed management technologies, explore more cost-effective soil and water conservation technologies, and establish a sound long-term monitoring and evaluation system.Through interdisciplinary cooperation, this paper aims to provide scientific guidance and practical support for the sustainable development of tea orchards in southern red soil region.
