A Study on the Impact of Sports Atmosphere on Campus Bullying among Middle School Students
Objective:To explore the influence of sports atmosphere on campus bullying of junior high school students,to investigate the mediating effect of self-control and the moderating effect of subjective exercise experi-ence,in order to provide theoretical reference for sports science prevention and control of campus bullying of junior high school students.Methods:The survey data of 1065 junior middle school students in Guangzhou city were ana-lyzed using the Sports Atmosphere Scale,the Youth Self-Control Scale,the Subjective Exercise Experience Scale and the Junior High School Bullying Scale.Results:(1)The relationship between the four variables of junior high school students'sports atmosphere,self-control,subjective exercise experience and school bullying was signifi-cantly correlated(P<0.01);Bootstrap test results showed that sports atmosphere could negatively predict school bullying among junior high school students,the direct effect is-0.083,and the direct effect accounts for63.4%.It can also indirectly reduce school bullying among junior high school students through the mediating effect of self-control,with an indirect effect of-0.048 and an indirect effect of 36.6%.The moderating effect proves that subjective exercise experience can effectively moderate posterior pathways of the mediating effect.Conclusion:The sports atmosphere prevents and controls the bullying of junior high school students through self-control,and the subjective exercise experience has a moderating effect in the path of self-control affecting the campus bullying of junior high school students.
