Grey Relational Analysis of Scoring Technique Application by Elite Female Judo Athletes in Heavyweight Categories——A Case Study of Female Athletes in the+78 kg Category at the 2023 Doha
As a skill-oriented competitive sport, judo relies heavily on techniques as its core element.Taking the scoring technique characteristics of female athletes in the+78 kg category at the 2023 Doha World Judo Champion-ships as the research object, this study introduces the grey relational analysis method into the technical analysis of ju-do for the first time.It explores the impact of the success rates of different technical indicators on the outcome of mat-ches by taking the success rates of technical applications that determine the outcome of matches as the reference ob-ject.The research mainly utilizes video observation and mathematical statistics methods. In competitions, female ath-letes in the+78 kg category mainly score through throwing techniques, with the highest scoring rates being for foot techniques and hand techniques. The techniques of"back throw,""large outside sweep,"and"large inside sweep"rank the top three in terms of scoring rates among all technical categories.Through grey relational analysis,it is found that the success rates of foot techniques and waist techniques used by athletes in this category are most close-ly related to the overall success rate.Among foot techniques,"small inside sweep,""large outside sweep,"and"knee wheel"rank higher;in hand techniques,"back throw"ranks first;in waist techniques, the correlation degree of"sweep waist"is slightly higher than that of"large waist";in sacrifice techniques,"outside roll-in,""val-ley fall,"and"horizontal cartwheel"rank higher;in holding techniques, the correlation degrees of"kesa-gatame"and"yoko-shikata-gatame"are the same.It is recommended that the coaching team in China attach great importance to techniques with high correlation degrees in various categories and develop different training pro-grams for related techniques to enhance the overall strength of China's judo program.
