Analysis on the Distribution of Swimming Medals and the Competitive Characteristics of China,the United States And Australia in the 2024 FINA World Championships
By using the methods of literature,video observation,data statistics and correspondence analysis,this paper analyzes and studies the distribution characteristics of medals in swimming events in 2024 FINA World Cham-pionships and makes a comparative study on the competitive characteristics of China,the United States and Austral-ia.the results show that the medals of this World Swimming Championships are relatively concentrated and unbal-anced in regional distribution.As far as China,the United States and Australia are concerned,China and Australia have obvious advantages and fierce competition in women's 100m freestyle,200m freestyle and women's 4×200m freestyle relay.China has obvious disadvantages in men's 50m breaststroke,50m backstroke,50m butterfly and women's 50m,200m and 100m backstroke,and the United States is the main opponent of our men's relay event.Suggestions:optimize the layout of swimming events,consolidate,and improve the advantages of swimming events in our country.Speed up the development of potential advantage projects to provide more award-winning opportu-nities and competitive advantages for China in the Paris Olympic Games.Optimize the layout of swimming events,strengthen the development of men's swimming events,improve the current situation of"strong women and weak men",and realize the balanced development of swimming events in our country.
