Idolatry and Sport Psychological Fatigue:A Psychological Analysis of Rhythmic Gymnastics
In this era of social media,a unique idol culture has been formed,and the influence of idolatry has pen-etrated Rhythmic gymnastics,a sport with high artistic value.Through questionnaire survey method,mathematical statistics and other research methods,this study aims to explore the idolatry situation of Rhythmic gymnastics ath-letes,as well as the degree of idolatry involvement of athletes with different levels of sports and years of training,and to explore the connection between idolatry and athletes'psychological fatigue,so as to provide a theoretical ba-sis for athletes'psychological mobilization.The study showed that:1)idolatry is common among Rhythmic gym-nasts;2)Rhythmic gymnasts with more than 5 years of training experience showed higher levels of idolatry;3)the dimensions of emotional/physical exhaustion and negative evaluation of sports in athletes'psychological fatigue were significantly positively correlated with idolatry;4)in the total mean score of idolatry and the three involvement de-grees of total identification,relational fantasy,and pathological borderline,the idolatry involvement degree of ath-letes with psychological fatigue was significantly higher than those without psychological fatigue;5)the idolatry in-volvement degree of athletes with psychological fatigue was significantly higher than those with no psychological fa-tigue.psychological fatigue were all significantly higher than those without psychological fatigue.Suggestions:1)Always pay attention to athletes'related information and provide positive guidance to help athletes maintain rational and moderate idolatry and good psychological states.2)Make use of the idol effect and organise related activities to make idolatry a valuable psychological support to help athletes improve their competitive level.
