Structural Equation Modeling Analysis of Promoting Physical Exercise Behavior among College Students——Based on MGB Goal Oriented Behavior Theory Model
Objective:This study uses an extended model of goal oriented behavior to predict and test the influen-cing factors of promoting physical exercise behavior among college students. On the basis of the original MGB,this study added two variables related to college physical education teaching to examine the behavioral process of college students engaging in physical exercise.Method:This study conducted an online survey on 2106 college students u-sing SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 26.0 statistical software, and analyzed the data. Then, the data analysis is divided into two stages:the first stage uses confirmatory factor analysis(CFA)to test the reliability and validity of the scale. In the second stage, structural equation modeling(SEM)analysis is used to test the proposed hypotheses.Result:The CFA test showed that the data fit well with the model, and the model has high comprehensive reliability and conver-gence effectiveness..Conclusion:The results indicate that teacher image(β=0.305,T=11.910,P<0.001)has the most significant impact on the behavioral intention of college students, followed by desire(β=0.250,T=9.891,P<0.001).Attitude,subjective norms, and expected emotions significantly affect desire, which in turn affects the behavioral intention of college students.Inspire is an extended variable and also has a significant impact on behavioral intention.
