A Study on the Influence of Family Function on College Students'Physical Exercise Behavior:Mediating Effect with Regulation
Objective:To investigate the relationship between family function and college students'physical exercise behavior,as well as the mediating effect of self-efficacy and the moderating effect of gender.Method:913 college students were surveyed using the Family Intimacy and Adaptability Scale,Physical Exercise Level Scale, and Self Efficacy Scale.Result:There was a significant positive correlation between family function and physical exercise behavior among college students(B=0.175,p<0.01);Self efficacy plays a mediating role between family func-tion and college students'physical exercise behavior(B=0.179,p<0.001);Gender has a moderating effect on family function and self-efficacy among college students(male B=0.534,p<0.001,female B=0.406,p<0.001).Conclusion:Family function can directly predict the physical exercise behavior of college students, and can also indirectly affect their self-efficacy through self-efficacy.Gender plays a moderating role in the first half of this mediating effect.
