The Position and Situation of Industrial Division of Fujian and Taiwan in Global Value Chain:Based on the Analysis of Six Trade Industries in Fujian and Taiwan
Fujian has given full play to its unique advantages and good conditions in working with Taiwan to continuously deepen economic exchanges between Fujian and Taiwan,and the Fujian and Taiwan industrial chain has become an important part of the cross-Strait industrial chain.Based on the data of six trade industriesbetween Fujian and Taiwan,this paper analyzes the division of labor status and industrial division situation of Fujian and Taiwan in the global value chain by using export technical complexity,G-L index and GHM index.The results show thatin chemical industry and plastic rubber industry,Taiwan's division of labor is higher in position thanthat of Fujian,and Fujian is relatively ahead in state of division of labor.The former is dominated by intra-industry trade,while the latter is dominated by inter-industry trade.In the two major mechanical and electrical industry and industry of optical clocks and watches,Taiwan's division of labor in position is higher than that of Fujian.Taiwan has basically reached the absolute leading level in the division of labor.Both industries are dominated by intra-industry trade.In the textile and footwear industry and the metal products industry,Fujian'sdivision of labor in position is higher than that of Taiwan,but Taiwan is relatively ahead in state of division of labor.The former is dominated by inter-industry trade,while the latter is dominated by intra-industry trade.We should take the construction of The Cross-Strait Integrated Demonstration Zone as an opportunity to continue to deepen the integrated development of Fujian and Taiwan industries from the aspects of promoting industrial transformation and upgrading,building an institutional system,optimizing the development environment,and deeply integrating into the joint construction of the Belt and Road.
