Study on the Discourse Construction and Practical Strategies of Taiwan-related International Communication
With China's rapid rise,the global political and economic landscape has undergone significant changes,triggering major disruptions in China-U.S.relations.The unresolved Taiwan question has become a crucial tool for the U.S.in its strategy to contain and delay China's development.Under the manipulation of'"Taiwan independence"forces and external interference,primarily led by the U.S.,the international negative factors surrounding the resolution of the Taiwan question have become increasingly complex,presenting new tasks and challenges for Taiwan-related international communication.In order to create an international public opinion environment conducive to the complete unification of China,the task framework of"deviation-construction-communication"is put forward.First of all,it is essential to correct the misconceptions and erroneous narratives surrounding Taiwan question on the global stage,dismantling the discourse constructed by"Taiwan independence"advocates and their external supporters,and exposing the motives and nature of these false claims.Secondly,we should build a discourse system in line with the characteristics of international communication around the complete reunification of China,tell the story of the Chinese people on both sides of the Taiwan Straits in the pursuit of peace across the Taiwan Straits and national reunification,and constantly enrich the narrative content of"reunification across the two sides of the Taiwan Straits is beneficial to Taiwan and the world peace".Finally,efforts should be made to improve China's international communication capacity on Taiwan-related problems,based on the characteristics and laws of contemporary international communication,adopt communication art and strategies advancing with the times,effectively respond to the relevant concerns ofthe international community,so as to create a more favorable external public opinion environment for the complete reunification of the motherland.
