Effect of Modified Xiaoji Yinzi Decoction Combined with Sodium Hyaluronate in Treatment of Acute Radiation Cystitis after Radiotherapy for Cervical Cancer
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Modified Xiaoji Yinzi Decoction combined with sodium hyaluronate in treatment of acute radiation cystitis after radiotherapy for cervical cancer.Methods:A total of 60 patients with acute radiation cystitis after cervical cancer radiotherapy who were admitted to the urology department of the Second Affiliated People's Hospital of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2020 to September 2023 were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method,with 30 cases in each group.Finally,54 cases were completed in the study,26 cases in the control group,28 cases in the observation group.The control group was treated with bladder perfusion of sodium hyaluronate once a week for 3 weeks as a course of treatment;the observation group was treated with modified Xiaoji Yinzi Decoction combined with bladder perfusion of sodium hyaluronate,The curative effect between the two groups was compared,the number of urine routine red blood cells,the TCM syndrome scores,the congestion of bladder mucosa,the bladder pain assessment,and the over active blad-der symptom score(OABSS)before and after treatment were observed,and the safety of treatment was evaluated.by liver and renal function.Results:The total clinical efficiency of the observation group was 89.29%,which was higher than that of the control group 69.23%(P<0.05).Compared with those before treatment,the TCM syndrome scores,the number of urine routine red blood cells,the congestion of bladder mucosa,the bladder pain assessment,and the OABSS were significantly improved(P<0.05).The improvement of the TCM syndrome scores,the number of urine routine red blood cells,the bladder pain assessment and the score of urinary incon-tinence in the observation group were better than the control group(P<0.05).No liver and renal function impairment was observed between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion:Modified Xiaoji Yinzi Decoction combined with sodium hyaluronate is effective in improving the symptoms of hematuria,overactive bladder and alleviating bladder pain,and there was no liver and renal function impairment in the period of treatment.
