Analysis of Regional Differences of Factor Allocation Efficiency on Agricultural Productivity:Based on the Empirical Investigation of 82 Agriculture-related Enterprises in Different Regions from 2011 to 2020
Based on the panel data of 82 agriculture-related enterprises in China from 2011 to 2020,this paper divided these enterprises into eastern, central and western regions according to their geographical location, and used the excess logarithm func-tion to measure agricultural productivity. On this basis, the efficiency of factor allocation was calculated, and the influence of factor allocation efficiency on agricultural productivity in each region was investigated empirically. The results show that the con-tinuous increase of factor input can't bring about the continuous increase of output.Combined with the combination of factors,it shows that there is an optimal range of factor input. The influence of capital elements on output of agriculture-related enterpris-es in the eastern and central regions presents significant U-shaped and inverted U-shaped characteristics respectively, and the influence of labor elements on output presents significant inverted U-shaped and negative effects, with a combined effect. There is no significant curve characteristic in the western region.Capital and labor factors in the eastern, central and western regions have significant linear and combined effects on output, and the linear effects are positive, while the combined effects are nega-tive.The efficiency of capital allocation in the eastern, central and western regions hinders agricultural productivity, among which the central region is the strongest, followed by the western region, and the eastern region is the weakest. The allocation ef-ficiency of labor factors in the eastern and central regions promotes agricultural productivity, but that of the western region inhib-its it.On the whole, the absolute value of capital factor allocation efficiency is greater than the efficiency of labor factor alloca-tion.Therefore,enterprises need to improve the efficiency of factor allocation and reduce the distortion of factor allocation,so as to improve agricultural productivity.
